Miss Jamaica Kaci Fennell was the trending topic on twitter. Soon after the announcements of results the hashtags #JusticeforJamaica was created. In the arena the live audience ‘booed’ the apparent in justice to Jamaica when she was called in as the fourth runner up. This view is echoed in opinions of many other people as well.

After the announcement the fellow contestants approached Miss Jamaica Kaci and lifted her up. She was flocked by more number of contestants than the winner Miss Colombia who was approached by about 40 percent of contestants.
